On April 2008, Sacramento's Wildlife Care Association opened its first permanent facility at 5211 Patrol Road, McClellan, CA. Our new building is a large, domed, former radar building on the former McClellan Air Force base off Highway 80. You can see the 'big golf ball' building from a distance once you are on Patrol Road. The Internet mapping programs do not map it well, so use the directions below. Our phone number is still 916-965-9453 (WILD). |

Directions from Hwy 80 (East or West)

Take the WINTERS ST exit (1.6 miles West of Watt Ave, 6.4 miles East of Hwy 5)
Go North on WINTERS ST (this is a R coming from Auburn or a L coming from Davis) - go 0.9 miles, through the light at BELL AVE and all the way to the R/R tracks at DEAN ST.
Turn L on DEAN ST - go 0.25 miles
Turn R on PATROL RD (just before Urbani Ave & another R/R track) - go 0.8 miles
Our facility is on the left side, but just look for the 'big golf ball' building.

To get back to Hwy 80, turn R out of our parking lot
Take PATROL RD to its end at DEAN ST
Turn L on DEAN ST - go 0.25 miles
Turn R on WINTERS ST (at the end of the chain link fence) and go straight all the way to Hwy 80
